Big crowds, tired drag shows.

Nice mixture of guys in their 20s/30s/40s+. Food is decent and reasonably priced. I love what Mary Edith Pitts does for the community, but if you've seen one of her shows, you have seen them all.

Great place to lie low and drink.

Although the atmosphere is far from hip and trendy, the drinks are great and the back patio is great for early spring and late fall. Average good all-american working guys. No pretentiousness at all. Great dive bar to go out in shorts and flip flops and just drink with friends. Drag shows are funny but repetative.

Average, but fun

Burkhart's can be hit or miss. Crowd is typically a little older compared to younger. But most guys are pretty nice and approachable. The second level provides a great overlook to level one for the drag show or to just see what hot guys are hanging out below or coming in the front door. Patio is very nice and great place to be in the warmer months.

A Fun Place to Hang

Burkhart's is the kind of place you always wanted to find in a big city, but never could. The bar owner and staff are friendly and full of that Southern Hospitality that doesn't disappear the second you turn away. The men are hot, but approachable. You'll have a good time, too!
