Nothing Fancy but Relaxing Fun Enviornment

The food is actually good here and the prices keep us coming back. Good meal for $8! The service is a bit on the slow side and the wait staff often takes awhile to "appear" outside. The back patio is ideal for warmer days and usually ample parking during dinner hours. You can eat anywhere in the bar and hang out as long as you'd like for drinks!

It's a Pub!

Was under the impression this was a bar, but it's a Pub - so food and tables. Quick service and decent music to go with it. Was a good time for a few drinks until the next place, not really an all night hang out place.

Sadly to say, it has gone DOWNHILL !

In the past year, this bar has sadly gone from a very good bar, to not so good. Staff is not friendly anymore. Owners are unresponsive. Such a shame. We were there in December and they have lost their crowd. They need to have their bartenders STOP SMOKING WHILE THEY ARE WAITING ON CUSTOMERS!

Something for most everyone

Burkhart's is an old club with a great sense of entertainment. If you don't like something in one room there is always another to enjoy. In my opinion this bar has the most mixed crowd of any straight or gay in Midtown. The music was kickin but the decor was a bit dark. I didn't care for the smoke or the public popcorn but really enjoyed my evening.

Rude!

My work friends and I went here on a Monday night for a relaxing drink. We went inside and sat at a table, while one of us went to the bar to get our drinks. He was told rather rudely by a smoking bartender that we couldn't get drinks there, we had to sit down and wait for a waiter to come take our order. The waiter (cute but a little slow) came to the table once to take our order, then had to come back 10 minutes later with a pad & pen because he'd forgotten it. The drinks were okay, but our table was under an AC unit that blew on us the whole time, and it smelled like the place had been freshly varnished. We paid and left, thankful to get out of that dark place. We went across the lot to Felix's and had a better time, better drinks, and were treated better by the helpful staff and patrons.
