Smoke filled, Greasy Food

This place was extremely smoky. I was there for 30 minutes and my clothes reeked of smoke after I left. The bathroom was filthy. The bartender was rude. Not a friendly guy, and the food I ordered was terribly greasy. Not a fun place at all unless you are into overweight guys. I had high expectations after hearing there was a gay sportsbar in Atlanta. This is a sad excuse for a sports bar with old time box televisions making up most of the screens. Not recommended.

Sports and Studs

Great staff--Goodlooking and friendly. Crowd tends towards "The Eagle" types--men you might really like to nail, but wouldn't want to meet Mom or take to the altar. Can be quite cliqueish. Can be quite cruisey, but practically no one has the social skills to approach you in a "Hello, my name is..." fashion. Someone said it's because they're all shy butch bottoms. I've found in several cases that it's because they're actually partnered and trying to figure out how to have their cake and eat yours too. A few of the drunken, groping type. Some of them can be downright nasty and easily offended by the content of any normal attempted dialogue. Exchanged information and a whole lot of non-returned phone calls. Some guys have pretty trippy notions of what constitues sex if you're a vanilla guy just looking for love. Apparently, when the basketball, baseball and football go in, the brains and personality fall out. Not a thinking or educated man's bar. Having said all that, if you spend enough time and effort you can make a blue collar friend--and by friend, I mean friend.

Great neighborhood bar and sports bar..

This bar is mainly for guys who like sports and guys in their 30's and 40's generally. The guys are more rugged to bear-ish. The food is surprisingly good ( just simple bar food not foodie quality ) They are usually busy on Friday nights, but during football season, all day Saturday and Sunday they are very busy. Parking can be an issue, but there is parking across the street at the MARTA parking lot. Sometimes the guys there can be a little overly friendly.. ;-)

A joke of a sports bar

In January 2006, I went to watch the 2005 BSC championship game, which my team way playing in. They were having Trivia night there when I got there. When the game was getting ready begin, all the TV were still muted with the trivia going on and the manager there told me they would continue the trivia until halftime with audio muted to the game. If this were to have been any SEC college in the BSC championship, the full game would have been on. Also, this bar is extremely smokey with horrible air flow along with crowd flow. The only way to feel comfortable and fit in at this bar is if you're an weekly regular there and know how to serve up some bigtime bear attitude.
