nice
The reviews were right on point. Mostly straight dancers, rude dj who was unrelenting in his degrading of female patrons, and drinks were pricy but stiff. I would go again, but like thus time with a buddy to keepe from overspending and feign dragged to the back room.
good number of quality strippers
a bit lacking on the table service part, but my review focuses more on the stripper part and this place has really good eye candy ones ;-)
Don't waste your cab fare for this crappy hole in the wall
What a huge disappointment!!!!! My friends and I weren't let in because one of us had on a pair of shorts that were mid thigh. We drove from north Alabama just to come to this club and be turned down because we werent gay men. The web site stated that no skirts mid thigh or higher were allowed in. I haven't been so disappointed in a place of business in my life.
Let the buyer beware!
I have been going off and on to SR for a few years. The place is a total money pit. It's $3 to park (the attendant will lie about getting towed if you park somewhere else), the cover is fine, so I won't comment on that. The drinks used to be a great deal, $8 for a 16oz, then they jacked it to $10/11, now it's $8.50/9.50 for a 12 oz. So the drinks are no longer a reason to go there. Beware of many of the dancers, I had one take a $10 out of my pocket while I did a table dance with him (his name begins with a C). Or they'll pull bullshit like not keep track of the dances, and then try to charge you for 3 of them. The DJ's are totally obnoxious, one even said if you only tip a $1 on stage, go home (yes, he said that). They have a restroom attendant (which totally gives me the creeps), and they used to turn off one of the sinks so you had to go to his. The dancers will say whatever crap they want to get you to do a dance. Only people with more money than sense will take them up on that. Now they are some nice dancers, but the many are total douchebags, especially the ones who come across as arrogant. Unless you are pathetic, and like to waste your hard-earned money, avoid this place at all costs.
Atlanta vs FT Laud/Miami
This is the second Swinging Richards I have been to. The first was in Ft Laud/Miami with a friend twice about 10 days prior. Cost there was $400 for both nights. I wouldn't recommend going by yourself to either. Drag someone along with you. Atlanta - $3 parking, $10 cover, $10 VIP bracelet (most expensive item), $20 per song in the VIP area w/ grinding, $40 room fee, $241 private VIP show (grinding w/ a couch), charge for 20 songs in VIP area (45min), 2x $10 drink (16oz jack + 1oz coke).... Total Almost $800 for three hours... Overhearing the guys talk about conning individuals out of thousands priceless Be careful... I paid for the room in cash and then the guy tried to charge me $40 more on my credit card. I argued with the guy 3 times. It wasn't until someone else stepped in that he miraculously noticed his mistake. Me: Bi, Masc, Military, 33yr, blue/gray eyes, Avg/Musc build, 190lbs... Lots more desperate guys in the back shelling tons more out. It is addicting and can get out of hand quickly. (Remember - wingman / wingwoman needed)
