Best time of my life!
I was there on a Friday late afternoon and I meet 2 men that were wonderful. I sat at the bar as one guy sat beside me, buying me drinks, I got tore up. Then before too long the other guy sat of my other side and both were rubbing my back and my thighs while I got more wasted. Then I went to the bath room as they both came in with me and we talked more and I then left with them and WOW what a night, A night that I will never forget. I loved it... and I will be back very soon....
Hard to find, worth a visit
The staff is very nice--great guys. The crowd can tend to be older--as in "old". But is often mixed. There is a blackjack game some nights of the week which is great fun, and a chance to get to know the other players if the crowd is right. Not for guys in the young fast lane, but if you're not a twinkie and want to talk and hang out, it's a good place to invest some time. You may make a friend or find a date.
Nice place to meet
This is a small local bar which is a nice place to have a drink and meet friends. As a non-smoker, I appreciate the ventilation system which is excellent in keeping smoke to a minimum. All the bartenders are laid-back great guys.
For Mature Men & The Guys Who Appreciate Them
Quiet, friendly, clean, discreet hide away. It's a little hard to find, you need to go around to the back of Ansley Mall strip mall.
Great place for a 1st date, you can actually hear one another talk over the music.
Definitely a place for older gentlemen and the guys who appreciate them.
A Great place to go.
This is a great place to go after dinner. Alot of Atlanta well to do Gay men go here. Update. On Thursday Night there a Open Mic night. It worst then American Idol. Any other night it GREAT
Great for After Work or after Dinner
Mostly a Quite little place. But good to go to if your had a bad day at the office or you don't want to sit in rush hour. A lot of Prof's go here for a after work drink.Lot's of married guys here too. Sometimes there some Leather here and VERY few to none Drag queens. But there is this one CD that go here. But he has no clue that most ever one laughing at him. Also there one bartender that a little slow on service. He black and usual has he's heading around and is slow at serving you.
New Order is for a more mature crowd. The entrance is behind Ansley Mall - look for a small awning over the door. One of Atlanta's first gay bars (it was once called "El Matador" in the 1970s), New Order welcomes older gentlemen who like to tell tales of days gone by. <p> It's not the non-stop party you'll find elsewhere, but the conversation is good, as are the drinks--which are reasonable and strong.
