Gilbert's Mediterranean Cafe (Closed Permanently)

(21 Ratings)
Funky urban cafe
This hip, gay-popular eatery serves delicious, reasonably-priced Mediterranean dishes and great $5 martinis. Try the Lamb Tenderloin, Almond Tilapia, or for some variety, the Zorba Sampler. The atmosphere is the real draw, with karaoke nights, bellydancers, and bar.

Fun with no attitude!

Gilberts is a great place to hang out and enjoy a martini or beer as you people watch from the center of the action in midtown. Open-air bar and restaurant. Food is pretty good too.

Better atmosphere than food

This is a cool place to hang out and have a few drinks at the bar. The food is not great by no means. Skip the food and just have a drink.
