LGBTQ Lobby Day

LGBTQ Georgians live, love, work and play in every legislative district across our state, but many state lawmakers are unaware of the issues that affect our diverse community. RSVP now: http://bit.ly/2EIUqv8 This event will provide a free training on how to educate state legislators at the Capitol on the issues facing LGBTQ Georgians, and what they can do as legislators to be part of the solution. Following the training, attendees will have an opportunity to talk one-on-one or as part of a group, with their representative in the House and Senate (don't know who your legislators are? No problem; we'll bring this information to you!). We will educate elected officials on issues like the need for non-discrimination protections in state law, HIV criminalization, healthcare access, trans equality and more! Training and a light breakfast are provided to all attendees.
