The Heretic Atlanta

Great bartender

Was visiting Atlanta last night and was looking for a cool bar. Went into heretic and bartender was so so nice. Explained to us it was last call and went out of his way to give us other options for the night. Even though I didn't stay at Heretic, I will be bak there! This guy was super nice! Great southern hospitality!

went there again last night and there was nobody there at 1 am. I wonder if they are broke, going out of the business or something.

Nice place

Out of all the clubs and Bars i visited this one was the best. The music was great and the place was a good mix with different races. Also there is a Dark which i love just going in and seeing what takes place there. Cannot do anything in dark rooms as not my style but some guys did got lucky. I think the entrance was US5 and there is no parking fee, not sure what the drinks cost as my friend paid. All in all its a cool place and u just might get lucky in the darkroom so check it out. hey also have a man made beach out front, which is cool.

Rude First Impression

Atlanta is a great, friendly city where me and my partner always feel welcomed. However, the front door staff (biological woman specifically) at the Heretic this past Sunday evening greeted us with a rude attitude. Hey - I don't expect a red carpet to be rolled out for me but I do expect, at a minimum, a 'thank you' or 'have fun tonight' in exchange for my dollars to patronize an establishment. And I am old enough to know that most Heretic patrons may not even care how they are treated. Bartenders at least said "thanks' when charging $5 for small cocktail. My advice to Heretic Mgt - much of your 'competition' doesn't even charge a cover. If you are taking people's hard earned money, EARN it! Dont assume you deserve it just for opening your doors.

Heretic Saturday Night is Kick A@#. Great crowd, great music, hot men, and fun friendly atmosphere. I'll be going back again.
