I was here on a Friday night, after 10pm, what is advertised as a hard core leather bar is actually older, overweight men, who sometimes come out in leather, but mostly are just in jeans and t-shirts. Don;t get me wrong, nothing wrong with this type, it's just that no one there was the least bit masculine, as a matter of fact, they were all down right feminine. The bar has a lot of nooks and crannies and is spread out pretty good, but there was no cruising going on while I was there and only about 12 people. The drink prices are expensive, but hey, welcome to Atlanta. I say skip it.
Great place...
This is a great place. This is the Eagle so expect Leather and Bears. If your expecting a true hard core leather scene, this is not it. There is a dance floor, pool table, and back deck. There is lots of room to move around. It is busiest on Saturday evening after 10:30pm. Sometimes seems more like a neighborhood bar than an traditional Eagle.
Not a leather bar
This bar is full of bears. A guy named Doug ran for the Mr. Eagle contest. He was in the bar the weekend before wareing tennies shoes harness and vest he had his harness on backwords. If it is a leather bar why are they wareing flip flops in the bar. Cell phones everywhere. Guys bringing ipads showing off. On the back deck is setting the talk is always about who brokeup with who and why. It is a tragic place . Ashammed it is called a leather bar.
Thursday ain't it!
Was here 4-1-10 and the place was empty. Granted, there was a recent scare w/ the whole police raid thing, but less than 20 people total? I think it's got to have a big weekend crowd.....
