We will create safe space and play games that teach us how to tell authentic stories with movement and other means, we can communally share skills, healthy snacks, massage trade, and make music. Play alone or in groups, by there will always be some sort of group activity, physical or mental, always be some teachers, and there will always be an available audience or witness.
Let's build an Atlanta-based community of creative queers!
There have been about 30 people each time!
Aerial, choreographed dance, juggling, unicycle, handstands, acro, harness flying, and other fun has been happening. We play games together and bring snacks.
Please reach out to others and share this invitation. Please make an extra effort to offer transportation (Melissa Coffey lives next to the Buckhead Marta station if you need a ride). Please invite a diverse range of people, age, ability, body type, skin color.And please know that this is a leave no Trace event. We will have the entire gym to ourselves. It includes a yoga and dance studio, and two aerial studios with 21-25' rigging. 26' ceilings and two gender neutral bathrooms.
