POP!: 'the Uncontrolled Imagination' Art Opening

Oscar's Atlanta Owner Chris McDonald and those crazy local artists The Sons of Lovecraft invite you to a night of colorful art that utilizes pop style to pay tribute to the imaginative 50s, 60s and 70s. Expect science, comics, Martians, Daredevil, Lucy, Ulysses and his Sleestack babe. Includes some poignant pieces like Ray Macon's 'The Politics of Employment' and George Lewis Hartley's 'Energy Utilized/Energy Wasted' (about frustration). These two best buds met at Oscar's and have held three 'Found Object' shows there. "Please join us," says Chris. "The community really does support our weirdness," says George. "Most of all we want Atlanta to see the art while tasting one of the bar's many great martinis by fun hostess Neasia & Co. at Oscar's Atlanta just above Ansley Square.
