In Part I, we’ll share stories and images about vacations in these locales from our childhood. Part II will focus on our father and son relationships as the AGMC brings back by popular demand an abridged version of our original work of choral theatre, When I Was Your Age, selected as one of nine featured performances to be given at the 2016 International Festival of GALA Choruses in Denver.

****As a community — as a family — we all continue to be devastated by the recent senseless tragedy in Orlando and wonder what we can do to support those most closely impacted by it.
For the Voices of Note choruses — the Atlanta Gay Men’s Chorus and the Atlanta Women’s Chorus — the answer lies in our mission: to change hearts and minds through music. Never in the AGMC’s 35-year history has this been more needed.
So we are WAIVING ALL TICKET PRICES for this week’s three performances of the AGMC’s "The Story of U.S." Instead, we ask audience members to make a donation in the amount of their choice; funds will go to Equality Florida’s Pulse Victim Fund who are working with the city of Orlando, their local partners and national organizations to help meet the immediate and long-term needs of the victims and their families.
THE DETAILS
The AGMC performances will STILL be ticketed events. PLEASE GO ONLINE to secure your ticket now. Season ticket holders and those who have already purchased tickets will have guaranteed premium seating up front and your ticket fees will be considered donations. Look for an email from Voices of Note with more details.
While of course we will dedicate our performances to the Orlando victims, that simply isn’t enough; as it’s been noted, it’s not just about what we say, but what we do to combat hatred and violence. By coming together for these performances, the Atlanta community can share a respite by enjoying this exceptional and inspiring show while also making a difference — together — for our brothers and sisters in Orlando.
Know that the AGMC will have additional security measures at the performances to help ensure everyone’s safety.
We look forward to your joining us to celebrate our value and diversity while we heal together at "The Story of U.S."
