Afropolitan is the largest Afro-Caribbean social movement of its kind, attracting over 3000 diaspora professionals across multiple cities each month. It is also the premiere national platform for showcasing, promoting and sharing the vibrancy and variety of African cultures and music with a braoder audience. Speed Networking (Connections) - The experience kicks off with a signature speed networking activity that makes it easy for hundreds of diaspora professionals to develop geneuine connections and make new friends 2. Afropolitan Spotlight (Inspiration) - The spolight is an inspirational 10 minute segment where diaspora founders of successful causes and business share their stories and inspiration with the community. The idea is to serve as a source of inspiration and foster collaborations amongst professionals in the diaspora. 3. Cultural Showcase (Culture) - The experience also features a rich tapestry of various African cultural elements, expressions and performances including fashion shows, art exhibitions, Spoken word, artist performance(Typically from an African country celebrating their independence for the month). 4. Music & Dance (Culture) - The experience transitions into an electrifying experience during the 2nd half of the event, where our A-List African & Caribbean DJs energize the dance floor and take the crowd on an Afro-Caribbean music journey.
