The Georgia Conservancy's Stewardship Trips program is excited to offer our Metro Day Trip Adventures for the second year in a row. Sponsored by the Alcoa Foundation, a Georgia Conservancy Natural Partner, our Metro Day Trips help to supplement and enhance our already robust statewide trips schedule and aims to highlight and acknowledge the diverse array of green spaces, natural resources, individuals and organizations that are putting metro Atlanta on the map for environmental stewardship and sustainable growth. Our 2016 Metro Day Trips include hikes, classes, or tours at: Sweetwater State Park, The Atlanta Beltline Arboretum and Jake’s Ice Cream, Woodlands Garden, Fernbank Forest and the Museum of Natural History, Cascade Springs Nature Preserve, South Fork of Peachtree Creek, Primitive Fire Building Classes, and much more!
Also, find out more about the great work and programs of Trees Atlanta and join them on their next Beltline Arboretum tour with family and friends.
