The Welcoming Committee is ringing in the new year with a bang at our monthly LGBTQ pop-up party. Don’t worry, we didn’t drop the ball. To avoid a GQB right after NYE, we’re holding Guerrilla Queer Bar one week later than usual. Whether you need to recover from being homo for the holigays or your new year's lezolution is to meet new peeps, we’ve got you covered on Friday, January 8.

When and where do we GQB?
Once a month (usually the first Friday), The Welcoming Committee invites LGBTQs to gather en masse at a not-specifically-gay bar, much to the surprise of the regular crowd. It’s not a protest—it’s just good, glittery fun. We announce the neighborhood four days out (Monday) and the location the day before (Thursday) via email and at thewelcomingcommittee.com. Only members can see where, and signing up is free.
What’s The Welcoming Committee?
TWC is the largest LGBTQ social network this side of the rainbow—legiterally 33,000 people and counting. We organize good, gay fun in 10 U.S. cities. From bar takeovers to culture and sports to destination travel, we’ve got life beyond the gay bar covered. Part events company, part volunteer operation, all inclusive.
