A Midsummer’s Wet Dream

There’s a moment we create together. You’re close and I feel your heat, you drown in my scent. We flow and ease into a cascade of events as in a dream, a wet dream. We then create a new moment, in community, A Midsummer’s Wet Dream. We call all fae folk and other assorted creatures to share themselves and what they can create for a day into the night. Bring costumes, food, performances, ideas, workshops, decorations, art, music, magic or just joyous intentions to share. Help us steal this secret moment from the everyday. ------- It’s our 5th Midsummer’s Night, and we’re embracing our gathering roots by going DIY. We’re depending on all of you to help transform the space into a magical scene, so try to think of what you can bring to make it a special night. We’ll have a public space where you can write out anything you’d like to add to the festivities along or outside our scheduled events. If you’re new to it all and would like help with what you’d like to bring, let us know in the comments below! Also, this is a great place to ask any questions you think others might want to know the answer to. If you are coming in from out of town and don’t know someone to stay with, please message one of the hosts and we’ll get you situated :) ------- 12pm: Open to the public 1pm: Opening ceremony and heart circle 2-5pm: Open schedule, create an event! 5pm: Goat Boutique Salon (get transformed!) 6pm: No talent show 8:30pm: Midsummer’s ritual 9:30pm-till we pass out: Outdoor revelry, dance party, lounge/cuddle puddle ------- If you’d like help even more, we start decorating and setting up Friday evening and enthusiastically welcome any and all help cleaning up Sunday morning. PINK ARMBAND MENTAL HEALTH CREW If you’re feeling overwhemled, lost, invisible, or under attack, there will be volunteers wearing pink ribbons on their arm. Please approach one of them and they can sit and talk with you for a spell and/or help you find the resources you need. We want this event to be as enjoyable for you as it is for everyone else. PHOTOGRAPHY CONSENT POLICY We’re asking that people kindly refrain from photographing people without asking their permission at this event. It is not a public space and people do have an expectation of privacy within the space. We know it can be difficult, but the event can be way more fun if we stick to this.
