ALERT: Do NOT park on the residential streets surrounding Piedmont Park! These streets are now designated Residential Parking Only and you WILL be booted or towed.
We don't want your festival experience to end on a negative note, so please make arrangements for alternative transport. Here are some suggestions:
- Take MARTA to the Midtown Station or the Arts Center Station. Piedmont Park is just a 3 block walk. We will also have FREE Lanier Shuttles running every 15 minutes (depending on traffic) from both the Midtown Station and the Arts Center Station to Piedmont Park for those who do not wish to walk.
- Ride your bicycle to the park! The Atlanta Bicycle Coalition will have a bike valet station located on 10th Street near Park Tavern for you to hop off of the Beltline and safely store your wheels during the festivities. Don't own a bicycle? You can rent one! Check out www.atlantabike.org/rentals
- Hitch a ride with Uber or a local taxi. Both can drop you off at the 12th Street Entrance to Piedmont Park.
- If you must bring your vehicle, Midtown Atlanta has a plethora of paid parking garages all within walking distance to the park.
**PLEASE NOTE: Personal grilling is not allowed in the park this year during the Atlanta Jazz Festival. There will be plenty of food vendors on the festival grounds to satiate your appetites. Due to this change, we have shifted dates to start earlier so that we can have Piedmont Park back open to the public who may want to grill in the park on the Memorial Day holiday on Monday, May 26th.**
