The Atlanta Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence request your presence at Centennial Olympic Park on Saturday, February 8, 2014 at the Fountain of Rings at 4:30pm.
This will be a demonstration of LOVE and SOLIDARITY for the Russian LGBT community and for the world. We will reflect in our own struggles from the 1996 Olympic Games where hatred was visible in our own community.
We will pray, sing, and bring awareness to the issues currently highlighted in Russia and remember that those same things are still happening in our Atlanta community, in America, and many places in the world. Please bring signs of Love and Hope. Wear your colors of Pride. (As many rainbow flags as possible.)
We would like to end this event with a candle light vigil at the site where the National Center for Civil and Human Rights is being constructed.
(Between World of Coca-Cola and Georgia Aquarium.)
Please bring your friends and family.
Let’s Show the Atlanta and the world that we are here and that we stand for LOVE and HOPE!
