~ Poets must sign up by paying on the site below. Only the first 10 slam poets will be able to register which is $25 to slam

~ After payment is made please send an email to liftupatlanta_ec@yahoo.com with:
1. Put in subject box: Southwest Poetry Slam
2. name you paid under
3. stage name you wish to go by
~ You have 3 minutes to perform your poem which starts as soon as speak
~ Each poem must be of the poet's own production
~ No props or musical accompaniment (unless singing acapella)
~ If the poet goes over time, points will be deducted from the total score
