Sing for your Life: Week 1 - celebrity guest judge: Tara Simon

Week 1: Stripped - Singers will be performing songs stripped down with either guitar or piano accompaniment.

Sing For Your Life is a new live singing competition that is taking Atlanta by storm. Different than a karaoke competition — contestants will receive vocal coaching, style consultations, mentoring, and more. Singers will have the opportunity to showcase their talents weekly (via online promotions) as well as stage performances (backed by live musicians).

Each week, the live audience will cast their votes for their favorite contestant. The two contestants with the lowest votes will then fall into the Danger Zone where they will sing for their lives in order to stay in the competition.

The competition will begin on Thursday, January 10th, 2013, and will take place every Thursday evening for twelve weeks at the Jungle in Atlanta, Georgia.

Doors open at 8m / show starts at 9pm
