Good place to dance
Visited during Veterans' Day on a Saturday night. The $15 cover charge was outrageous, but i wanted to experience it so i nevertheless paid it. Warehouse-type layout, nice lights, good (but not great) music, great go-go boys, and lots of shirtless guys dancing on the dance floor. There's a huge elevated stage that seems to me underutilized; fill it with pictures of porn actors, or have more go-go boys dancing or something. Parking is free and convenient. My only major complaints were all the straight girls and, again, the $15 cover charge (for that much money i expect to walk out with a smile on my face)!
My opinion.
I use to go to Jungle back in 2010 and it has changed a lot. The last 2 times I've been in 2013 there weren't many people there so I was bored. They need to have more promo to get larger crowds in.
should be named, TWINKS ON DRUGS
skinny, scrawny, femmy, queens on all types of drugs. i don't think there was a brain cell in the place. attitude and children who don't know how to behave or treat people. pretty boy attitude by boys who aren't very pretty.
Okay Place
Visited this place, its a huge ass place and a much younger crowed was there. The musicwas okay but nothing special, These young guys there all had attitude so picking up a guy there is not easy. Its okay to check it out. The price for the drinks was okay, there was a US 5 cover i think i was not more. Free parking when u can find one.
Visitors beware
If you are visiting Atlanta as I did recently, I would suggest staying away from Jungle. It is the only bar I have ever been to that they do not allow you to run a tab; instead they have an odd system of vouchers (unless you pay with cash). I was told that if these vouchers which are bought in $20 increments could be used other nights or returned for payout. When I left, however, I was refused repayment of my balance and told I could just use them later. That might be fine if I lived there and had any desire to return - a ripoff otherwise. The drinks are overpriced as well; besides, Backstreet this club is definitely not. My advice: find another place to go (i.e. Swinging Richards) or swing by an ATM first.
