Although the drink prices are a bit steep, they're huge and almost as strong as jet-fuel. Bring a group of friends and plenty of single bills for tips and you'll have a blast.

Only drawbacks are that the boys can't be anymore interactive, and it can be a little pricey. $3.00 parking seems pointless . . . then $10.00 cover charge . . . then $10.00 if you wanna go into VIP room . . . you can tip the boys on stage (but no touching -- slip the $ in their arm bands), you can get a lap dance/table dance on the main floor for $10.00 per song, you can get a lapdance/table dance back in the VIP room for $20.00 per song, or you can get a private VIP room for $40 per 15 minutes, then the dancers are $100.00 for 15 minutes. All that said, the boys are HOT AS FUCK! Gorgeous bodies. Big cocks. Really had a great time here. Drinks are generous, and well-priced. On Thursday nearly all the dancers were very muscled, on Friday a much better mix with smaller guys, some total twinks, some less muscled but definitely well toned. Not an ugly guy in the bunch (there were 17 dancers on Thursday, 44 dancers on Friday). Just awesome, awesome place -- I'll definitely be back.

Out of all the strip clubs i have ever been, this place wins first. the guys are HOT, staff was nice, music was great. The dj bashed the shit out of the girls. I thought the drinks were expensive until i saw it was all top shelf liquor and they used lots of it. Its a fun place to every once in awhile, other wise you will go broke. I noticed all the bad reviews came from women and I think that the club likes that. Its a gay bar and by law you have to let them in but you don't have to ensure them a good time. I just moved here and can't wait to go back. I here for pride all of the boys are working. I'm there. Ladies go somewhere else and stay away from our Gay bar.

Horrible service

I hesitate to even give this place 1 star. Yes, the dancers are cute. Some of them dance quite well. The other staff however is downright deplorable. Upon entering the club my companions and I were insulted and verbally abused by the 'Assistant manager' [Some scrawny man handling the cover charges.] We shrugged off being referred to as 'fattie bitches' and decided to try to have a good time. Upon leaving, the same 'Assistant Manager' yelled outside of the club 'Thanks for not caving in our floor'. and 'Yay, the fatties left'. I am still in wonderment as to how any business can get away with verbally abusing their patrons. I wouldn't recommend this place, go to the Coronet Club instead. The only reason I'd go back would be to slap the **** out of that 'assistant manager'.

I do admit the dancers here are fantastic however I think the manager/dj can be a little too much. I guess a lot of people think that since they paid a door charge, they don't have to tip. I spend a lot of money here when I go. I don't think it helps anything by complaining so much.

My boyfriend and I had an awesome time. Everyone was very friendly, dancers where HOTTT! Like to say to one of the Dancers Austin, we enjoyed it. "Austin was our favorite!" Make sure to take some money, you will sure spend it here. We will return back very soon.

for being a gay bar there were just as many females there as males to view the dancers. some had attitude and others just wouldn't even say hi. when my friend left me to go the bathroom i was swarmed by dancers. nice guys all around might go back

Best Time I've Ever Had!!!!

I'm not sure what other people are complaining about, I had a blast. The men are HOTTTTT!!! The bartenders know how to make a drink. The DJ is a riot, playing great music and keeping the dancers moving. I was in Atlanta for 1 week, I went every night. Tuesday was awesome, packed bar. Can't wait to go back.

Fun on a Tuesday!

Went with some friends for 1/2 price cover ($5) on Tuesday. As soon as we walked in we saw 5 fully naked men, and they just kept on coming! A friend who knew the guys said that only 4 of the 25 dancers that night were gay, which was disappointing, but all the guys were hot, and most of them seemed to be having an okay time. The drinks are STRONG- I had only ONE and was so drunk afterward I couldn't feel my feet. A special shout-out to the "little person" dancer, who was just as hot if not hotter than all the others!

Ignorant ASSES!!!

I'm sorry if that was a bit blunt, but i don't really care. I went yesterday to finish celebrating a friends 22nd birthday. It was her idea to hit up SR so we all obliged. Ok so we had to pay $3 for parking, wasn't feeling it but whatever we're here to have a good time. anyway before we could even pay to get in, the ignorant ass at the desk hesitated to let us in. Mind you we looked nice. Had just came from eating Dinner at a very nice Mexican restaurant and wanted to end her birthday/Cinco de Mayo celebration proper!! Anyway the ignorant ass short bastard took some of our fives and then looked us over again and said we can't come in because we weren't covered enough or some other bs. One of the girls had on a cute top with black tailored shorts, she looked adorable, we all looked nice. This asshole call her a slut and said she can't come in because her shorts didn't hit the bottom of her thigh. Again, we all looked tasteful. There was nothing wrong. anyway the night ended with a sweet guy trying to vouch for us as his friends so we could get in because he couldn't understand why they would do that either....Almost in but some overly buff, meat head, fake ass bouncer (owner? I don't know.)had to come up and say they don't want us in their club and to slut someplace else. WTF?? I'm not saying that this place isn't worth going to because a lot of people on here seem to think otherwise. I just had to vent a little because that ignorant ass mess was completely uncalled for. IT'S A FUCKIN STRIP CLUB IDIOT!!! None of us looked like sluts. who the hell says something like that to people who want to attend your business and just have a good time. So, sorry SR gets two middle fingers from me!!!

I'm bi and my wife is straight, and I've been to the place three times--the most recent with her. WOW, we both had a blast. I've always been treated wonderfully at SRs, and now my wife had the same experience. The dancers were totally hot, very friendly, and fun. The bartender was eager to please, friendly, and very quick with drinks. The neighborhood may be a bit rough, but hey, take a cab--you'll be safer on the way home if you've been drinking. Can't wait to take my wife back for another table dance. Special thanks to Steven, the cute dancer who did ours!

Cherry Hill New Jersey on Northside.

Swingin Richards is a thow back to cheezy Cherry Hill New Jersey strip clubs of the 80's. Don't get me wrong, we need a strip bar in town but a stip bar that charges 10, 12, 15 per drink and a stiff door charge is so old school and Tony Soprano it makes me want to scream. Oh rating this place is easy. Bartenders, Two Stars Drinks, One Star (reminisent of a wedding reception in a family garage. Performers, Four Star (but very few men of color); Environment, One Star.

A great place!

I travel from 4 hours away a few times a year just to go to SR. I'm not sure where some of these reviews come from on this site, but I've never had nothing but a GREAT time! The drinks are expensive but well worth it (they are large and strong!), the dancers have never seem bored, they are just as interested in men as the women, and if you pick the right stripper you can have some real fun in the VIP room for a decent rate. Go prepared to spend some cash, but you'll have a blast doing it!

This is a must whenever we are in town. We went to Swinging Richards to ring in the New Year and weren't disappointed. The guys on stage were hot, the drinks were good, and did I mention, the guys were Hot! I miss the naked guys in DC but they sure are swinging in Atlanta!

A dangerous bar

Swinging Richards is a bar I really used to enjoy going to. It's also an establishment where you have to pay parking attendants to watch your car being stripped. I'm not saying don't go; but only go by cab and take pepper-spray. The ownership assumes no responsibility for the destruction of your car even though you are charged to park on their property. Really don't take your car there.

A Disappointment

We were hoping for a sexy strip show similar to what we had been to many times in Washington, DC and other cities. What we got was major tease and little else, at a high cost. Parking $3, entry fee $10, there is a rest room attendant expecting a tip (he’s perched on a stool blocking the sink). Several guys repeatedly approach customers selling shots and lap dances for $10 or more. You’re not allowed to touch the dancers. They remain clothed too much of the time and not one of them ever got an erection. The web page says the club never allows bachelorette parties, it is for gay men only. Yet there were a lot of women there, and many of the dancers seemed to focus on them. Other than the fees I mentioned so far, you can also buy admission to a “private area” in the back for another $10 where you then have the option to rent a dancer for a more intimate encounter at prices starting around $50 and up for 15 minutes or more. I realize this is a business. But, I needed to feel special and not that I was only there to hand over my wallet. Will I go back? Absolutely not!

Of all the placess I visited in Atlanta, I was looking forward to seeing this club the most - and it left me cold. It's all about money - lots and lots of it. They even charge you to park to go to the club. A steep admission charge, no $20 table dance and T-shirt combination available as the website said, expensive drinks (but strong), and dancers that, in many sets, didn't even take off their pants, let alone their undewear! Touching is strongly discouraged but tipping is expected - and the only place you can put the tip is in a band around the dancer's upper arm. I went on a Saturday and it was crowded - with women! There was easily as many women there as men, and the dancers were obviously playing to the women. I had trouble getting in and out of the men's room for all the women hanging around the door talking to the "restroom attendant". The dancers were hot but appeared bored. It's all about money here - and it's not worth it. The only thing that saved the night was out hot server Bryan. He was a honey!

The club is very good overall..Some of the dancers have an attitude...But with bodies like that it is to be expected...A few standouts though...Very sweet guys include Parker, Anthony, and Steve...My ABSOLUTE FAVE is Weston...Nicest guy on the planet ( and HOT!!!)

Cute boys - but AVOID the VIP AREA!!

There are a lot of really good looking guys dancing here - not as hot as they were a few years back though - and with a LOT more attitude. If you go, enjoy the view from the bar and seating area, but don't be swindled by the dancers to head back to the VIP area. Although lap dances there are only $20, the dancers will try to get you to go to a private VIP Lounge. The card on the tables quotes the prices as about $65 for a half an hour, but that price does NOT include the dancer's fees - which run about $500 an hour!!!! I'm not even joking. They don't tell you that before and management is belligerent if you try to argue. It is very dishonest and fraudulent, but hey - it's a strip club so what can you expect?

The Happiest Place on Earth

This was my 4th or 5th multi day visit to ATL. During each of these stays I found myself visiting SR. I simply can't believe it exists. It's perfect (ok a little expensive). Great Music, nice bartenders and very hot, down to earth guys (especially Nathan, KJ, David, Anthony, Gianni, Sergio,). But there were 35 guys available so this is the "Heinz 57 varities" of strip clubs...a guy for every taste. Am I going back...you bet! My calendar is already marked.

oh my god! this place rocks!! the hottest models are blue, dannon, tyler, damian, and hunter. only two or three truly dance: anthony, dallas, but DAMN!!! devon can freaking throw down!!!! that little guy is one of the smallest in terms of height and weight, but his stage presence is bigger than all the others combined... that boy can DANCE, and he's genuinely one of the nicest guys i've ever met! worth every penny to see these hot, sweet guys.

Classy place not seedy at all. Drinks are strong and fairly cheap (I'm from NYC) The guys are hot and totally friendly. I reccomend the VIP lounge, the lap dances are way more intimate for only 20 bucks. Skip the VIP rooms, its a waste of money. Chippers is GOD. Make sure you say Hi to Tyler, Michael, and Tony

I travel about 5 hours at least once a month to go here. There are usually about 35 dancers each weekend night. Every type...many are young and hot. This place is great but money goes fast..every penny is worth it. Women dont like this place because they do not allow batcheolorette parties or large groups of women.

Girlfriends and I went to S.R. for a bachelorette party. We saw a bunch of tired brokedown wannabe gays. They had no problem doing ANYTHING for money. Have they heard of STD's. The guys that were working that night must have been hard up and trying to pay their rent.We were not impressed at all.
