Stage Door

A friend of mine roommate go's here. It just a OLD drag bar. Bad drinks made with flat coke, Front bar is Ok. They do Texas roundup there the back bar is where they have the funerals for the Drag queens. It like haveing a pan handler in the bar. Bad show.

Stage Door is to my knowledge the only Gay bar on the NE side, and the closest one to Gwinnett. Week nights are pretty quiet, mostly Lesbian. Owner and staff are friendly and make everyone feel welcome. The Friday night karaoke is always fun and usually some very good talent. Saturday night drag show, is mostly just good old fashioned fun, they don't take themselves over seriously. There are some cute available guys that come in there, and the competition is not that great...LOL

Like I read in other reviews of this place this is where Drag go's to Die. Talk about needing a up-grade. I think this place was a Sizzler at one time back in the 70's. The bar is in two parts the front where you come in is ok. Not much to write home about. But the back is where there try to do shows. And there REAL bad ones too. And if you don't drink don't go here the coke is flat.

This place is so out of time. It still does Drag show if you can beleive it. Look like something that left over from the 70's. The front part is OK. Normal gay man and woman back part VERY OLD and VERY dated drag show. It like having a panhandler come up to you in a bar. And if you don't want them to come up to you they still do.

I have always felt very welcomed each time I have gone to the Stage Door. I have been there on various nights and the staff is always very friendly.
